Business Administration

MA in Political Economics (Northeast Normal University, 2000)

Subjects: Business

I started working as a post-secondary instructor in 1994 and have been passionate about teaching from then on. My subjects of teaching cover most business courses in marketing, management and international business.

After a decade of teaching and researching in Chinese universities, I moved to Canada in 2006. I spent two years at the University of British Columbia, taking some graduate courses in Environmental Sustainability and doing research at the same time. I started full-time teaching again in 2008, with two years in the Business Program at College of the Rockies and five years at J.R. Shaw School of Business, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

I joined North Island College in 2015 and have been enjoying my work and life in the Comox Valley ever since. On this very close-knit and yet also diverse Comox Valley campus, I feel it a great pleasure to be able to share with students from all over the world my knowledge and experiences in business administration. It is also hugely rewarding that I am able to learn and develop myself during my process of teaching.
