Fine art instructor Elizabeth Russell interviewed on artistic process, new exhibition in Germany

Artist and NIC instructor Elizabeth Russell is marking a new international exhibition in Germany this month.

Russell's work will be featured as part of an international group show VANREYBER that will be held until Oct. 31 at the historic Werkhalle Wiesenburg Gallery in Berlin. Russell is contributing four charcoal drawings on paper with fabric.

She was recently interviewed by the Comox Valley Art Gallery during preparation for the exhibit, where she outlined her approach for the exhibition, her creative process and why drapery and fabric have the power to be transformative.
