Comox Valley NIC FEST Keynote Speaker: Sean Aiken

What should I do with my life? It's okay not to know.

Sean Aiken is the creator of The One-Week Job Project. He traveled throughout North America working 52 jobs in 52 weeks to find his passion.

After having graduated from college with a Business Administration degree, top of his class with a 4.0 GPA and named Class Valedictorian, Sean Aiken struggled with fear, anxiety, and the expectation of others in answering the question, “What should I do with my life?”

Instead of taking the first job that came along, he found a unique way of figuring it out: The One-Week Job Project

On his inspirational quest, Sean trekked more than 46,000 miles, slept on 55 couches, and raised over $20,000 for charity. He recently helped open the Wayfinding Academy, a two-year college in Portland, Oregon at the heart of the movement to revolutionize higher education, where he is currently an Associate Professor. Sean has been featured on CNN, Good Morning America, The Rachael Ray Show, MTV, and The New York Times.

Join us Wednesday, March 22 at 6:00 pm at the Stan Hagen Theatre in the Comox Valley to listen to our keynote speaker Sean Aiken at NIC FEST!
