Hello NIC students,

It’s late August and before the leaves begin to fall, you may be harvesting your garden, squeezing in that last camping trip, or planning for back to school. Be sure to watch your myNIC email for updates regarding admission, registration, and class information. We are pleased to share that the new 2022 Fall Student Orientation webpage is live and ready to welcome you to NIC!

Campus Life Assistants

Overnight breakfast oats


½ cup rolled oats

1 tablespoon chia seeds

½ cup milk or almond milk

1 tablespoon maple syrup

¼ cup plain yogurt or coconut milk


Optional Toppings: sliced fresh fruit, berries, dried fruit, shredded coconut, nuts, seeds, nut butter or cinnamon


1. Place all ingredients into a sealable jar or bowl and stir until combined.

2. Place the jar in the fridge for 2 – 12 hours

3. Top your overnight oats with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
