 NIC Graduation Ceremonies

We are so excited that Graduation ceremonies are in person this year! On behalf of the Student Life team, congratulations graduates! It’s time to celebrate. We recognize your dedication and hard work and look forward to hearing your news as you take the next steps in your lives. Please do keep in touch.

If you have registered for grad, here are the dates and times for each ceremony: 

Campbell River

Date: Monday, June 20

Time: 1 pm

Location: Tidemark Theatre

Port Alberni

Date: Wednesday, June 22

Time: 1 pm

Location: Alberni Athletic Hall

Comox Valley

Date: Friday, June 24

Time: 10 am and 1 pm

Location: Sid Williams Theatre

National Indigenous People’s Day is Tuesday, June 21

Pride Month

NIC’s new GSRA club is partnering with NISU to present Proud Prom!  This is an inclusive event to celebrate pride. Check out our NIC Student Life Facebook or Instagram pages for details.

Bittersweet farewell to Disha

  • Disha Salhan, after many years at NIC, is following her heart and transitioning into a new career. We wish Disha well in her new position and thank her for all that she has done for the students at NIC. As Disha will still be in the Comox Valley, we will see her around.
