Thrive Week Tuesday: Social Connection

Join us throughout the week of March 6-10 for Thrive! Each day features themed events at NIC campuses open to all students and employees. Tuesday, March 7 is Social Connection.

Campbell River

Movie Day: Join us at the Student Commons from 11:30am - 1pm for a movie and popcorn.

Colouring and Activity Sheets: Engage in some mindful relaxation available all day in the Student Commons.

Library & Learning Commons: Visit the library to check out Thrive displays and participate in self-guided, relaxing activities.

Comox Valley

Grow your Network (student event): Join us for a facilitated in-person, student-to-student networking event from 11:30am-1pm at the Stan Hagen Theatre. Drop-ins welcome! You are guaranteed to meet new people while enjoying light refreshments and yummy snacks. Expand your NIC social circle, practice introducing yourself confidently and get to know other students from different program areas as we split up into small groups of 3 to chat about this and that for 12-15 mins at a time. Future opportunities knock through relationship building so plan to attend and grow your NIC network one conversation at a time.

Social Walk: Join us at the main campus entrance for a social walk from 10-10:30 am.

Participants of the walk are eligible for a $25 grocery gift card prize draw!
