Research Ethics Board

NIC recognizes the importance of research to educational progress. The Research Ethics Board (REB) at NIC assesses the ethical acceptability of research through consideration of the foreseeable risks, the potential benefits, and the ethical implications of the research. In particular, the REB ensures research activity involving human subjects is conducted in a manner that respects participants’ rights, welfare and safety.
