Aboriginal Education Council

The Aboriginal Education Council (AEC) provides guidance to ensure the delivery of education and support services relevant to the needs of Aboriginal people and to ensure that the college works with Aboriginal people in culturally appropriate ways.

The goal of the Aboriginal Education Council is to create a sense of belonging for all our Aboriginal students, faculty and staff, recognizing the significant culture and traditions of the 35 First Nations in the Nuu-chah-nulth, Kwakwak’wakw and Coast Salish traditional territories which NIC serves.
