  • May 11th: 10:00 am tour of LEED certified Trades Building
  • May 11th: 11:00 am tour of Remote Web-based Science Lab (RWSL)
  • May 13th: (tentative) tour of Mt. Washington mine site

Transportation

North Island College’s Comox Valley campus is located at 2300 Ryan Road, in Courtenay. The Comox Valley is about a 75-minute drive north of Nanaimo.

Ferry to Nanaimo

Check BC Ferries leave site for the ferry schedule from Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay or Tsawassen terminals) to Nanaimo (Departure Bay or Duke Point terminals).

If travelling from Nanaimo, follow Route 19 - Inland Island Highway north and take Exit 117 onto the Comox Valley Parkway.

Air to Comox

The Comox Valley Airport (YQQ) is located at 1250 Knight Road, and is a five-minute drive to North Island College. Harbour Air also flies into the Comox Harbour. For more information:
