NORTH ISLAND COLLEGE WELCOMES STUDENTS TO CAMPUS

North Island College's Comox Valley Campus is rolling out the welcome mat on Tuesday, September 4th, with a variety of informative activities for students attending the College this fall. Morning and afternoon classes (those scheduled before 4:00 pm) have been cancelled to make way for a full day of helpful and fun events, which will kick off at 8:45 am.

Throughout the day, students can attend short workshops on "Time Management" or "Essay Writing" and hear faculty speak about their program areas. A complimentary barbeque lunch will be served beginning at 12:00 pm with musical entertainment and prizes.

For first time students, attending Orientation Day is a great way to get started at the College. They can locate their classrooms, meet their instructors, and visit the library and bookstore. Returning students can reconnect with classmates and instructors, buy course materials and find out what's new at the College

Thanks to the support of Cloves Catering and the North Island Students' Union this year's event is shaping up to be another huge success.

It all happens Tuesday, September 4th. Come and join us! For complete event details, call 334-5000 or visit www.nic.bc.ca.
