If you are 50+ with a zest for learning and exploring life, come “learn, enjoy and share” with likeminded individuals at Campbell River ElderCollege. With the cooperation of North Island College, Campbell River ElderCollege has offered a wide range of courses and programs since its inception in 2004.
There are 21 courses being offered this semester, including French and Spanish Conversation, an Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation, the Origins of Religion, Digital Photography, Bits and Bytes, Journal Writing and Calligraphy. In addition, the Saturday Morning Lecture series will continue, with this session’s theme being Campbell River’s Environment.
An Information Session will be held on Friday, September 21st at 1:00 pm at North Island College’s Campbell River Campus, for those wishing to find out more about ElderCollege and the specific courses being offered this semester.
Membership fees remain at $10.00 and courses fees are $30.00 for each 8 week session.
