North Island College's instructors have developed a really strong curriculum and are able to produce students with excellent knowledge. I hire NIC's Professional Cook students every year. In fact, I have two of them working in the kitchen right now.

Unique Dining and Educational Opportunities

The bistro, located on North Island College's Campbell River campus, is open Thursdays and Fridays from 5 pm to 7:30 pm from January 26 to March 27, 2017. The Bistro features amazing three, four, and five course menus created by our very own Culinary Students. Educate and entertain your palate with a visit to the Third Course bistro! Every fall and winter, the Third Course bistro offers quality service in a unique atmosphere, created by tourism and hospitality management students.

With fabulous menu choices, an excellent wine selection and an inviting atmosphere, the Third Course bistro offers incredible value. Students in NIC's Food Fundamentals & Service (THM-275) course and Professional Cook Training Level 1 and Level 2 prepare the meals, with the freshest seasonal products. Customers enjoy grilled New York steak, salmon, roasted chicken breast entrees, with soup, salad or appetizer and scrumptious desserts while supporting NIC students.
