Third Course Bistro

quote
The bistro has been my biggest learning curve in the last two years of education. It’s given me the opportunity to work on and evolve my leadership styles and personal qualities. I’ve learned how to deal with different personality types, be more organized, speak more professionally, be level-headed in tight situations, and so much more!

Third Course Bistro: Unique Dining and Educational Opportunities

Educate and entertain your palate with a visit to the Third Course Bistro! Every fall and winter, the Third Course Bistro offers quality service in a unique atmosphere, created by both the tourism and professional cook (culinary arts) students.

With fabulous menu choices, an excellent wine selection, and an inviting atmosphere, the Third Course Bistro offers incredible value.

The menu focuses on the availability of fresh, seasonal products and are a result of the creative collaboration of professional cook (culinary arts) students, who design the menus and plan and prepare the meals, and the tourism and hospitality management students, who operate and serve in the bistro and at special events held throughout the school year.

As usual, the menu focuses on fresh, seasonal products. Customers choose from either a three, four, or five-course meal with such delectable menu items as rare grilled tuna, braised lamb shank, Thai coconut curry, or charbroiled New York steak.

The Third Course Bistro is located on North Island College’s Campbell River campus. It is open for public dining from 5–8 pm on Thursday and Friday evenings from Oct. 13 through Dec. 2, 2011.

The bistro fills quickly and reservations are recommended. For more information or to make reservations, call 250-923-9708 or e-mail TheThirdCourse@nic.bc.ca.
