College Matters: A Report to Our Communities

Each year, North Island College publishes and distributes a report to the community to share our highlights and regional events. As a publically funded institution, this report is just one of the many ways we hold ourselves to the highest standards of accountability.

If you wish to receive a copy of the current Community Report, please contact our College & Community Relations office at 250-334-5271, or by email at collegerelations@nic.bc.ca. You can also view a copy of the Community Report online.

Colleges Build Strength in Our Communities

At North Island College, our programs and courses are developed in partnership with industry and employers to ensure students are prepared for employment and further education in our communities and around the world.

Whether you’re just out of high school, nearing retirement or somewhere in between, North Island College provides adult learners of all backgrounds, ages, interests and abilities with the education they need for a brighter future.

With four campuses and four centres serving a population of 160,000 over a geographic region of 80,000 square kilometres, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to access quality education programs close to home.
