Facilitators: Patricia Boham and Murray Etty. In the second half of life, how does one age in meaningful and hopeful ways? How does one break out of the box in which our culture tends to put seniors, a box that marginalizes and diminishes them? Come and be inspired by people who are harvesting their years of learning and experience to make a contribution to their community and the wider world. In each session we will hear from someone who has found ways of making a difference, while, at the same time living their lives more fully. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion to help us think about our own creative aging. Let's help each other and the community to overcome ageism and appreciate what older people are really doing...and capable of doing.
