Cosmetology

Learn the techniques and skills to perform quality hair, skin and nail care through North Island College's new Cosmetology programs. Take the Nail Technician, Esthetics, or Hairdressing programs and learn the skills you need to work in a busy salon or start your own business.

NIC students learn professional, industry-recognized skills in hands-on realistic settings. Students will be qualified to earn the Cosmetology Industry Association of BC Certificate and qualification in their chosen specialty.

Esthetician Certificate

8-month certificate beginning in September, January, and May

Hairdressing Certificate

10-month certificate beginning in September, January, and May

Nail Technician Certificate
