NIC Affiliations - A Respected Institution

BC College and University Education System

At North Island College we are part of a network of 27 post secondary institutions and universities located in British Columbia. Our programs are well respected in the province. At North Island College we work collaboratively with our colleagues at the other institutions to help students transfer to complete a degree or another program. Our relationship with our sister institutions allows students to transfer to other institutions.

Working with Secondary Education

North Island College values its partnership with School District #71 and #72. The School Districts offer learning opportunities for international students. Students and parents interested in building an educational plan that includes education through university are welcome to contact either the School District #71 or School District #72. Our Province also has a publicly funded and highly respected college system which offers degrees, diplomas and certificates.

International Organizations

North Island College is a member of the BC Centre for International Education. This membership helps North Island College work collaboratively with other institutions in the province.

We are also a member of the Canadian Association of Private Language Schools. This Association provides a high standard for our English as a Second Language program.

NIC is also a member of the Canada Education Centre Network. The Network helps us promote our college as a place to study in Canada.
