NIC in the News: NIC marks 25 years at the Roger Street campus in Port Alberni

Wilma Gus, a member of the NIC faculty (Adult Basic Education), finds a photo of herself from the NIC time capsule, sealed in October 1994 at the opening of the campus.

NIC recently opened the 25 year time capsule at its Port Alberni campus.

The capsule was sealed at the official opening of the campus, in October 1994.

Faculty and staff, including some who were with NIC when the campus opened, were there as President John Bowman opened the capsule and unveiled its contents.

NIC is collecting memorabilia in preparation for re-sealing the capsule this spring.
