Studying in the Mobile App Development program was a great opportunity for me. I already had experience as a software developer and the program gave me the foundational skills to get started in the industry and open my eyes to the many possibilities and opportunities I could have programming for smartphones. *Note: Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) may be completed to obtain credit for prior learning or prior experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript or Java programming for DGL-103, DGL-113, and/or CPS-100.

+Note: Electives may be chosen from any 100 level or higher courses that transfer to a BC degree granting institution.

Completion Requirements

This program is designed to be completed within eight months of full-time study. To complete this program students must successfully complete all required courses within four years.

Admission Requirements

  1. C in one of Provincial English 12, English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, NIC ENG-096, or ENG-098; or C+ in ESL-092 and ESL-095; or English assessment testing.

International Language Requirements

If you are applying as an international student, you must meet NIC international admission requirements.
