FIN-130 Fdn Studio in 3-D Materials & Design
4 hours, includes lecture and studio time, 3 credits
This course is an introduction to three-dimensional art and design. Relationships between concepts, materials, technical approaches and context will be emphasized throughout. Elements and principals of three-dimensional art and design will be presented. Historical and contemporary concepts will be explored along with their applications and relationship to three-dimensional form, with an emphasis on the 20th and 21st centuries.
- C+ in one of Provincial English 12, NIC ENG 060, ENG-096, ENG-098 or ESL-090; or placement testing. Students with less than C+ in Provincial English 12 (or equivalent) may be admitted with the approval of the Instructor/Department Chair.
- FIN 110 (may be taken as a co-requisite).
