The Island Pre-Health program is designed to prepare you for advanced professional health training, including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and more. You'll spend years one and two of the program developing core competencies to prepare for upper-level health sciences and biology courses. In year three, shift your focus to higher-level studies in health sciences, including pathobiology, epidemiology and pharmacology. Students will gain experiential knowledge by working with local health professionals and learning from Indigenous Elders and communities throughout the program.
