Student Success: Work on an International Stage

North Island College Global Business Management Students are going X-Culture.

Twenty-two BUS-360 Intercultural Dimensions of International Business students spent two months developing new products and business proposals with business students from 40 countries.

"It was awesome," said Vishveshwar Nagal, who proposed a customizable truck for Daimler, the makers of Mercedes-Benz cars. "It was the first time I created such an extensive business plan for a real company."

NIC is the only Canadian institution to participate in X-culture.org this year. The organization specializes in training students for the global workplace.

The Global Business Management post-degree diploma draws students from around the world, offering Canadian work experience and international business training over two years.
