This is a comprehensive first aid course for those who require the skills and knowledge necessary to deal with life-threatening situations and to give assistance to people in physical distress. Includes all of the content of the Emergency First Aid course (FAC 020) plus injuries due to heat and cold, medical conditions, bone and joint injuries, head and spinal injuries, and moving and transportation. Certification is by the Red Cross and is valid for a period of three years, but yearly recertification in CPR Level C is recommended.
