All NIC training programs follow the criteria set by the Industry Training Authority (ITA) to ensure your trade qualifications meet current industry standards. From foundation through apprenticeship levels, NIC’s expert faculty will guide you on your journey to your Red Seal.
Foundation programs combine apprenticeship Level 1 with theory, knowledge and skills needed for entry into a trade, without needing an employer sponsor.
Apprenticeship levels are the in-class portion of your apprenticeship training, following the criteria set by the Industry Training Authority (ITA), as you work toward your Interprovincial (Red Seal) ticket.

Youth Train in Trades is an Industry Training Authority approved youth program which allows students to earn high school graduation credits, foundation trades (pre-apprentice) credentials and workplace hours required for trade certification while still in high school.
The student-to-instructor ratio is low, so you get a lot of hands-on time and time to ask questions and really delve into the materials. I would definitely recommend coming to NIC.
