Develop advanced skills and qualify for a wide range of job opportunities in the metal trades. Learn a variety of welding and fabrication techniques while you gain skills to build, assemble and repair products made of steel and aluminum. Earn level 1 metal fabricator and level 1 welder technical training credit and work-based training hours toward your Interprovincial (Red Seal) certification for either trade when you register as an apprentice.

Having metal fabrication opened up more opportunities for me. There’s a lot of different hats that a metal fabricator can wear. What you’re working on can change from day to day, especially if you’re working in small shops. I’d highly recommend it to anyone interested in getting into metal work.
