Motion Picture Grip Micro-credential

Explore the vital role of film grips on set and prepare to enter the motion picture industry. Training will include an overview of how grips work to support configuring the camera and lighting equipment required to execute film or television shoots with professionalism and accuracy. Instructors will also guide students through an introduction to the film and television industry, safety and workplace protocols, the application of sophisticated equipment, tools and specialized grip accessories, industry protocols and more. Students with technical aptitudes who also enjoy hard work, collaboration and working in a creative field will love this program.

This tuition-free program blends 10 weeks of online learning with two weeks of in-person training at a professional film studio.
