Continuing Education
How to Register
Continuing Education offers a broad spectrum of courses ranging from personal development
to career and industry training. We are committed to meet the lifelong learning
needs of the communities we serve by constantly adapting to the changes by providing
relevant, accessible and quality education. The following steps will get you started.
Choose Your Courses
There are two ways you can browse upcoming Continuing Education courses in your
community:
- Visit Continuing Education, or pick up
the Continuing
Education Catalogue
, which provides
a detailed list of courses and programs available to you this season.
- Use the Search for Courses
tool online, which also displays detailed information such as instructor names,
course dates, and room locations.
Register in Courses
There are two ways to register in courses:
- Using
online registration
- Using the online registration form, simply choose the following:
Course Type = choose Continuing Education
Location = choose your campus location
Course Code = this information is a combination of letters and numbers published
in our course listings (ex. PAEC 6206)
then “submit”
- Click the check box beside your desired courses, then “submit”
- Carefully fill out all remaining sections of the online form.
- Using the printed registration form:

Continuing Education Application Registration form

- Carefully fill out all mandatory areas of the application
- Payments may be made in person to the Student Services
office on campus by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit card, cash or cheque.
Mailed in registration forms must be accompanied by cheque or money order.
Registration Policies
Course cancellations
The College reserves the right to cancel courses. Every effort is made to notify
students, please ensure that your contact information is current. Refunds for cancelled
courses will be processed automatically.
Fees
Tuition fees are payable in full to North Island College at the time of registration.
We accept cash, cheques Visa, MasterCard or Amex. No post-dated cheques. Tuition
fees include GST where applicable. Tuition and other fees are subject to change
without prior notification.
Inclement weather
The college reserves the right to close the campus due to inclement weather. Please
listen to your local radio station for campus closure due to inclement weather.
Cancelled classes will be re-scheduled. All students will be notified of the new
course dates on the next working day.
Refund policy
The College will return tuition to students who apply for a refund after the time
of registration and seven days before the start date of the course or program unless
stated otherwise.
