Button and Block Update
There are no longer buttons/blocks for external links and links to other sections of the site. All buttons will be one of the following categories in the UNORDERED list below:
- IMAGE BLOCK - Blocks with a photo, title and copy
- TEXT BLOCK - Blocks with a title and copy
- BUTTON - Buttons with a title
All buttons and blocks within an Area of Study will have that Area of Study's cluster colour. These colours are defined in content-page.css and examples of each are below for each Area of Study
All other buttons and blocks will be based on the Site-wide Blocks and Buttons examples below.
The existing blocks and button styles will be updated partially when content-page.css is live and will still be functional, but will need to be updated with the new styles in order to have the entire block work as a link. To see what they will look like after this update, scroll down to see the Test for Current CSS examples.

I can't think of a better way to start university. NIC gave me a head start in my courses, I got to know my instructors, and I saved thousands of dollars in my first year of study. It was the gradual transition from high school to university I needed.

Quote with Image
I really like studying in a smaller classrooms, the teachers are really helpful and encouraging. People in Comox Valley are very friendly and hospitable so I get a lot of chances to practice my English. This is feeling like home.
Han Yang Yu, China
Learning is the biggest aspect of life and being a student ambassador at NIC has helped me a lot in learning some important life skills. I choose this as I love being around people and helping them as much as I can. My every day goal in life is to put a smile on one person's face every day and this opportunity of connecting to students has helped me a lot in achieving my goal along with helping others.
