Brave Space Conversation: Gender-Based Violence

Join us for a panel discussion on the history of gender-based violence and what we can do to address it.

The session date also marks the first day of the 16 Days of Action Against Gender-based Violence.

We will begin with defining gender-based violence, as well as expand on the definition of gender. Panelists will be asked several questions related to Canada’s history of gender-based violence, and we will discuss what we can do to address and prevent gender-based violence in our communities.

You will have an opportunity to ask panelists questions at the end of the session.

The session is free to all members of the NIC community. Email studentlife@nic.bc.ca for the meeting link.
