North Island College’s Port Alberni campus hosted its annual open house last week, inviting more than 200 high school students to learn more about the college’s services and programs.
... “It gives us that opportunity for showcasing some of the things they might not know we even do here in Port Alberni,” said Felicity Blaiklock, director of student affairs and the Port Alberni campus administrator. “There’s this assumption that going away is automatically better, but that’s not always the case.”
