NIC Communicable Disease Plan

This Communicable Disease Plan is designed to promote the health and safety of North Island College employees and students. It provides information that can be used to prevent the contraction and spread of communicable diseases and support the appropriate response to a communicable disease outbreak.

To prevent or reduce exposure to communicable diseases, all students and employees must follow the procedures outlined in the NIC COVID-19 Communicable Disease Plan.

Student and employee expectations

All members of the college community have the responsibility of creating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment.

In the interest of safety, students, staff, faculty, and other members of the college community including visitors and contractors are required to comply with all applicable safety plans and protocols and Public Health Officer (PHO) requirements.
