Linda Sheehan is particularly interested in human-environment relations, and integrates the natural and social science traditions of geography, as well as perspectives from other disciplines, when examining this relationship in her classes. Specific areas of interest include the following: climate change, sustainability, conservation, resource management, attitudes toward nature, and sustainable agriculture. Linda has taught geography at NIC since 2009, and she also teaches courses on climate change, human geography and regional geography for Thompson Rivers University- Open Learning.
