Michele Jones has had extensive experience training, mentoring and auditing for over 20 years.  She is well versed in plant identification and scientific measurement of natural features. She instructs not only at North Island College, but also teaches several field programs through Vancouver Island University and the Natural Resources Training Group. Michele is currently one of two Riparian Areas Regulation Assessment Methods instructors in the province.  She is also a certified Streamkeepers and Wetlandkeepers instructor, providing support to those programs as well as serving as an instructor at the BCWF Wetlands Institute.  Michele owns a biologicial consulting firm focused on environmental assessments.  In her spare time, she hikes, camps and volunteers for several non-profit organizations.
