This course is intended for individuals working with potable water distribution systems including plumbers, pipe fitters, irrigation installers, municipal water works personnel or any individual that is responsible for a water distribution system as outlined in the BC Plumbing Code. All plumbing codes and most municipalities require some form of back flow protection between their potable water systems and any other system or device connected to their potable water system. The tester's certification course covers the basics of back flow protection from hydraulics to administering a Cross Connection Control program with an emphasis placed on testing back flow prevention assemblies.
