Calculations for Caregivers 2 builds on the basic dosing calculations covered in Calculations for Caregivers to include IV calculations (flow rate, drip rate, infusion time and adjusting rates) as well as provides a review of basics of safe medication calculation. Designed for those who do not identify as 'math people,' students work at their own pace through lessons that include interactive learning activities, culminating in self-assessment quizzes with instant feedback. Successful completion of a comprehensive final test results in a certificate of completion. Medication math covered is equivalent to the content generally required in second year nursing studies (IV calculations).
