Is your community or non-profit organization looking for funds to sustain or develop a project or program? Learn the language of grant writing greatly to increases your chances of success. This story-filled two-day workshop gives you the basics and more for: locating funding sources; articulating your idea into a fully developed proposal; networking with partners; developing a relationship with funding contacts; and, rounding out your proposal with the evaluative and reporting commitments. You are invited to bring current proposal projects on the second day of the workshop for group and individual assistance. Instructor: Ellen Huse Note: Cost includes an Effective Grant Writing binder; the classic book on writing, The Elements of Style by Strunk & White; and a DVD with extensive funding inventories, templates and additional resources.
