Faculty

With the high level of interaction between students and faculty, faculty have tremendous influence over the learning, development and decisions of their students. Faculty are also key to the success of our institutional strategic priority for internationalization, through their development and support for;

  • internationalization at home through internationalizing their teaching, learning processes, curriculum and programs,
  • education abroad opportunities,
  • building capacity in the College and community to meet the needs of students, and
  • develop and implement international contract training, projects and applied research.
  • Faculty are encouraged to visit the Office of Global Engagement (OGE) to discuss ideas for programming, advice whether curricular or non-curricular, outreach, proposals, and related administrative process/protocols. Other ways we could use your support are:

  • invite OGE staff to present to your class on a variety of topics
  • join the conversations on social media
  • encourage your students to study abroad
  • collaborate with faculty across campuses and institutions on faculty led-programs
  • support student mobility for academic credit
