First Nations Post-Secondary Funding

You may be eligible for post-secondary funding through your First Nation. This funding may cover tuition, books, supplies, and living allowances. Each band and council has a unique post-secondary education policy. Indigenous education advisors can help you complete your application and provide your band with all the necessary information. To get started, ask your band office to send you their post-secondary education application and policy and meet with an Indigenous education advisor.

Scholarships & Bursaries

NIC’s Indigenous Education Advisors can also help you explore other funding options including loans, scholarships, bursaries and grants. Indigenous students can apply for many scholarships and bursaries. Visit financial aid, or book an appointment with an Indigenous education advisor.
