NIC trades students are building an outdoor classroom at Huband Park Elementary in the Comox Valley as part of a community project.

NIC students and faculty are building the structure, which will be ready next year, free of charge.

According to the Comox Valley Record: "The new gazebo-style structure will feature a timber frame, a peaked overhanging roof with skylights, interior trusses, and a row of south-facing benches for students."
