The RGU Scotland-NIC Transfer Agreement gives NIC business students an opportunity to gain international experience, perspectives and contacts. Once you complete the third-year of your UK degree in Scotland, you will have credit for 75% of an NIC four-year business degree.
To qualify for entry to RGU's Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Management or Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Management with Marketing degree, you will need to complete 60 credits of NIC's Business Administration diploma (general management or marketing) or NIC's Bachelor of Business Administration degree (general management or marketing) and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA (B average) or higher.
Choose the general management option if you are looking for a program that covers a broad base of management functions. Sharing a common first year with other diploma options, you will continue into second year to learn commercial law, consumer behaviour, e-business, management information systems and entrepreneurial and small business management.
Choose the marketing option to gain practical skills and a solid foundation of knowledge for employment in a marketing environment. Second year courses include consumer behaviour, professional selling, retail management, services marketing, and entrepreneurship and small business management.
RGU will grant you a degree after you successfully complete the third-year of the non-placement route.
Upon completion, you can return to NIC for the fourth year of NIC’s Bachelor of Business Administration General Management or Bachelor of Business Administration Marketing degree. This allows you to earn a second degree at NIC with just one more year of study.
If you are interested in learning more, you can review the Advanced Entry Agreement between Robert Gordon University and NIC. Find out how to qualify for financial support with RGU’s Merit Scholarships or Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships.
As a graduate, you will be prepared to build a successful career in industry or the public sector. You will be qualified to work in management, marketing, international marketing, advertising, promotion, market research, public relations, events management and other related industries.
