Studying in the Mobile App Development program was a great opportunity for me. I already had experience as a software developer and the program gave me the foundational skills to get started in the industry and open my eyes to the many possibilities and opportunities I could have programming for smartphones. Completion Requirements

This program is designed to be completed within 8 months of fulltime study.

Admission Requirements

  1. C in one of Provincial English 12, English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, NIC ENG-060, ENG-096, or ENG-098; or C+ in ESL-092 and ESL-095; or English assessment testing.

International Language Requirements

International students must meet NIC international admission requirements.

Consider NIC’s Academic English Language program if you need to gain the skills to speak and understand English in the college environment.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of this program are equipped to pursue employment in the fields of iOS and Android application development, game development and computer programming. Graduates may also choose to continue their studies with North Island College by continuing with either the Web + Mobile App Development Diploma, or the Communications Design Diploma.
