FIN-201 Video + Sound 2

4 hours, includes lecture & studio time, 3 credits

This advanced project-oriented course introduces the student to media arts practice through an exploration of video, sound and expanded media production such as animation and installation art. Technical principles combined with experimentation, critical discourse and exposure to diverse media practices support the production of student projects. Additional Information: Students in the region can borrow video and sound equipment from the NIC. Students outside of the region must have access to video camera that can capture 1080 HD, tripod, and sound recorder: Hn1 or Hn2 Zoom recorder, headphones, SD card and harddrive for backing up files (1 TB recommended).
