Students without an IELTS score will be assessed by an ELP faculty member to determine the most appropriate courses for registration and success.
For entrance into ESL-062/ESL-065 (Advanced Level) students require an IELTS score of 5.0 overall.
For entrance into ESL-092/ESL-095 (College Prep Level) students require an IELTS score of 5.5 overall.

Prepare for academic study in English with NIC's Academic English Language Program. This program will provide you with the necessary English skills to complete college and university degrees or diplomas. Themes include reading/writing, speaking/listening and grammar.
Based on your demonstrated English proficiency, you will be placed in one of two levels: Advanced 2 or College Prep. See the Admissions tab for more details.
