A unique feature of the Advanced Communication Design program is the focus on two disparate disciplines that are rarely bridged - Visual Arts and Computer Science. It was this feature that attracted me to it. My coursework ranged from design fundamentals and photography to game programming, web databases and Ruby on Rails programming which positioned me particularly well to start my own web design and development business as well as to work as a full stack developer for a local development firm and startup.
