Diversity in Long-Term Care

This online course explores how carers can enhance long-term care programming to become more culturally relevant, inclusive, and meaningful for diverse residents in long-term care settings. Informative presentations by subject area experts, engaging videos and group discussions will enhance your activity toolbox. Participants will examine Indigenous, Jewish, Japanese, Chinese, Sikh and Hindu traditions, as well as faith in the context of caregiving. Weekly self-reflection assignments will further inspire new, responsive approaches to programming.
