This course introduces students to the common construction-related hazards in the plumping and piping trades. Students will learn how to apply Worksafe regulations and demonstrate correct safe work procedures during practical asssessment.

This course introduces students to the common piping trade tools and equipment. Students will be taught how to select the correct tool for given tasks, safely use and maintain tools, and demonstrate the correct use of tools and equipment during practical assessments.

Prepare & Assemble Plumbing Components

48 hours lecture and 84 hours shop

This course introduces students to all the common piping system materials used on the job. Students will learn the advantages and limitations of the various fittings and the pipe, valves, and support systems for pipe installations. Students will also learn installation methods during their practical assignments.
