Get your start in the mining and mineral exploration industry. This program will help you acquire the knowledge and skills to seek field assistant positions in an exciting natural resource sector. Explore mining fieldwork essentials, including safety, resource management, as well as technical skills in data collection, monitoring, sampling and reporting. Blended program delivery combines online weekly interactive instructor-led sessions with in-person field studies and project-based learning.

Delivery: Blended online and in-person training. In-person field training will be offered in Campbell River, Port Hardy or Terrace, depending on student registrations.
