Develop in-demand skills to prepare you for a successful career in the welding industry. Earn your Level 1 and 2 technical training credit and work-based training hours towards your Interprovincial (Red Seal) certification when you register as an apprentice. Your courses prepare you for a trades internship where you’ll apply new skills in a real-world context while making valuable industry connections.
Welding training starts in August 2022, with foundational skills training starting in June.

Funding is available to cover the cost of training for qualified applicants. Funding eligibility is reviewed as part of the application process. Application fee for this program has been covered by grant funding. To start your application, click apply now and follow EducationPlannerBC's instructions. This program is a fantastic opportunity for those wishing to get into the metal trades. Upon successful completion of this program students will achieve technical training credit for Level 1 and 2 welder apprenticeship, work-based training hours toward achieving red seal certification as well real-world, in the field experience.
