Return to campus information for students, employees and the college community.
Develop essential skills both in the classroom and on the worksite. You’ll learn safety, site layout and survey, footing and wall form work and residential wood frame construction from experienced Red Seal instructors, current apprentices and industry representatives. You'll also earn level 1 technical training credit and work-based training hours toward your Interprovincial (Red Seal) certification when you register as an apprentice. As a graduate you will be equipped to pursue employment as an apprentice carpenter in residential, commercial or industrial construction, as a framer, finisher, forming carpenter or home renovator.

Students enter the program with a wide variety of strengths and abilities. It’s inspiring to help them develop their skills as they learn to use practical methods to convert theoretical concepts into real-world objects and see their pride in the end product they’ve created.
