Winter 2022 delivery

Courses will be offered on-campus this fall. Digital and blended delivery will also continue. You can learn more about delivery methods and get tips on how to read course codes on the Registration page.

How to register

Step 1: Apply to program

Course registration is open to students who have been invited or are continuing in an NIC program. Note: for some programs students will be automatically registered into their courses you will be informed if that's the case. If you are a new student or have been away for an academic year you will need to start by applying to your program.

Step 2: Pay your deposit

You must pay your deposit before you can register. Deposits can be paid online through your myNIC account.

Go to myNIC > Self-Service > Students > Financial Information > View Account and Make a Payment.

Payment methods:

  • Electronic: credit card, online banking transfer (Visa Debit Cards are NOT accepted)
  • By mail: cheque or money order (see Locations pages for address of your nearest campus)

Step 3: Build your timetable

You can build your timetable using Student Planning, which you access through your myNIC account. Student Planning is also the tool you use to create study plans and track your academic progress.

Building your timetable first allows you to set your schedule for the term so you're ready to register when registration opens. If you have questions about your courses, NIC educational advisors are available to help.

Step 4: Register

Once registration opens, you can go in to Student Planning and register for your courses. Some courses fill very quickly, so be sure to register as soon as you are eligible.
