Join us for some drumming, teachings about the drum, feasting, and Kwak’wala games with various Elders, Culture Keepers, and local indigenous people. An essential part of any gathering for most nations is sharing food together, so bring your plate and visit with friends first.
Following food, you may have a chance to participate in drumming and informal games with a variety of elder teachers. Get to know some people who are at NIC every day, and make some good connections with us! Informal drop-ins welcome.
